Gentle Yoga

Many people ask what the difference is between Yoga and Gentle Yoga? And who should practice Gentle Yoga and why?

First and foremost, Gentle Yoga is based on the Hatha Yoga style. Which means that all the Gentle Yoga stretches and poses have their foundation in correct alignment and structure to bring you the most benefit. But, the key difference is in the intensity and length of holding the poses. That is why it is so beneficial to people with physical challenges, to seniors and/or to anyone who has not exercised in awhile.

Gentle Yoga Benefits

* Increases Circulation
* Improves Balance
* Lowers Blood Pressure
* Reduces Stress
* Relieves Joint Pain

Gentle Yoga Focuses on Stretching and Toning Muscles

When muscles and joint movement are neglected, mobility decreases and pain increases. Gentle Yoga provides a well-rounded approach so that every muscle and joint is slowly and easily moved to bring you the most benefit. And of course, the more you move your body, the better you feel! And best of all, Gentle Yoga is easy enough for beginners, so you can remain motivated to keep up your practice - day in and day out!
